Sue Deepak, MS, MA, RD
HealthWise Nutrition Consulting has been established by Sue Deepak, MS, MA, RD, a professionally qualified Dietitian, and Nutritionist. She has extensive experience working with a wide variety of different individuals of all health statuses and is devoted to helping you achieve an optimal state of being.
At HealthWise Nutrition Consulting, we take pride in offering you the most comprehensive and individualized nutritional support available that will not only take into account proper weight achievement and maintenance but your health as well.
What We Do
We offer a wide number of nutrition services depending on the client’s health needs. We work with individuals on a one-to-one basis, or in a group environment, if preferred.
The primary areas of our expertise include obesity/weight management, diabetes control, heart and kidney disease management and prevention. However, if you have a specific concern outside of this list, don’t be afraid to reach out and contact us. We are fully trained to address all health concerns and will provide your own customized plan to meet your needs.
We also provide corporate-level services in terms of nutritional consultancy to organizations interested in enhancing their employee’s lifestyles for better health and work productivity.
Biography
Sue Deepak has over 25 years of experience covering different areas of Nutrition and Dietetics and has made many presentations, lectures to the public and fellow professionals. She’s had the opportunity to work with reputed companies like Fresenius Medical Services, California Pacific Medical Center, Veterans Administration, Physicians Weight Loss Center, and Sodexho and has conducted seminars and talks for Sarah Lee and National Kidney Foundation.
Sue’s qualifications include a Master’s degree in Consumer Science and Dietetics from the San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s and second Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from her native country, India. She completed her internship program for Registered Dietitian at John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek, Laguna Honda Hospital, San Francisco, and Berkeley School District.
She is a certified specialist in Renal Nutrition. Currently, she is furthering her education in Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy to bring cutting-edge interventions to her clients.
